Multi Me has been life changing for James as it has progressed his computer skills and his organisation of ideas.
— Theresa Clark (parent)

“My son James cannot speak at all due to strokes at birth. He uses computers and enabling software to enable his views and thoughts to be known.

Multi Me has been life changing for James as it has progressed his computer skills and his organisation of ideas. In addition it gives James a platform to express himself and he is certainly springboarding into life! Abingdon and Witney College (Pathways and Life Skills) are using the multi me and My Wiki concept in such a superb way and enabling interaction and communication on an amazing level. I can never thank them enough for introducing multi me to James.”

“I have been really impressed with WikiMe (Multi Me with Rix Wiki combined). We have used so many different ways of communication over the years with Jessica's school, therapists, carers, friends and family. WikiMe has been the first thing that has been able to join all of these areas up so Jessica's interests, needs and goals can easily be shared with everyone on one platform. It's fantastic.

Jess has previously used programmes on tablets but I have had to update and add pictures and then I could only access her pictures and targets when she brought the tablet home. The great thing about WikiMe is that I can access it, update it share it any time and anywhere that suits me, it has really taken the pressure off me. We had a hospital appointment recently and Jess shared her WikiMe - the consultant thought it was wonderful.

Being able to see what Jessica has been doing and looking at her targets and what she has achieved has opened up our conversations at home so much and Jessica shares her WikiMe with family and friends which gives her more confidence to talk to them as they can see the pictures which reinforce what she's saying.

I am really excited about using WikiMe as Jessica gets older and has more people sharing her care.

Thank you”

“It really does take a huge weight off my shoulders knowing all Ollie’s information is in one place for all involved to see if anything ever happened to me”

“Theo really benefits from the Multi Me and so do I as his parent. Theo's speech and communication is limited and having photos posted on the multi me really helps us to chat about his day.

Theo is keen to post photos and videos of what we do outside of college to share with staff and friends at college and he is able to write a short sentence sometimes independently which helps his speech.

We can motivate him to do jobs and activities when we tell him we can put it on his multi me to show his friends.

I would like to develop this more with Theo to increase independent writing and posting as he is so proud when he can share his achievements.”

We feel much more involved in George’s learning and can see what he is able to achieve when he is at college. We have found it invaluable.”

George shows us the work he has been doing at college

I think its a good way to express myself and help me out”

“Multi Me helps us as parents to be involved in what our son is doing at college. When he finds it difficult to remember what he has done during the day we are able to sit together each evening  to go through the pictures that have been put on and he is able to share his day. He is starting to do this with other family too.

We feel much more involved in his learning and can see what he is able to achieve when he is at college. We have found it invaluable.”

I find Multi Me incredibly easy to use, and I enjoy putting all evidence on the individual diaries as a way of recording. This enables me to gather lots of evidence against their IEP targets, and also just to celebrate the children’s individual achievements.
