All the application and user data is held in our UK based AWS data centre.

Is Multi Me Data Compliant?

In 2022, the RIX Multi Me Toolkit passed an independent data protection and security assessment conducted by Orcha Heath and is listed on its website as a safe and recommended health app. Additionally, Multi Me completed an NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT) self-assessment.

In 2024, Multi Me began working with The British Assessment Bureau to achieve ISO 27001 certification for Information Security Management.

Multi Me is also undertaking a programme of work, in partnership with Havencare Support to become registered on the Digital Social Care records assured supplier list.

Furthermore, Multi Me and RIX Wiki are undergoing a conformance assessment with the PRSB 'About Me' Standard.


Who Owns the Data in Multi Me?

You do.

The content you create in Multi Me, including text and media assets, is owned by you. Any information, media, or attachments added to your content by other users are also fully owned by you.

Is My Data Safe in the Multi Me Data Centres?

Yes, your data is safe.

Multi Me stores data in the UK on our Cloud Based AWS servers, which are backed up daily to ensure data integrity.

Our data centre is fully compliant with the following standards:

  • ISO 9001: Quality Management

  • ISO 27001: Information Security Management

  • ISO 22301: Business Continuity Management

  • PCI DSS: Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard

The data centre provides robust physical security measures, including:

  • 24-hour manned security

  • Internal and external CCTV systems

  • Intruder alarms

  • Security breach alarms

Additionally, our data centre fully complies with GDPR to ensure your personal data is handled securely and in accordance with legal requirements.


How Else Do You Ensure the Technology is Safe?

We use SSL (Secure Socket Layering) to protect your data during transmission, minimising the risk of it being intercepted between the device you're using and our secure data centre.

Is Multi Me Data Encrypted?

Yes, all data stored in our data centre is encrypted to ensure its security.
