Brrrrr....Project ICICLE is well underway!

Posted by Admin on 6th December 2012

We are a few months into our ICICLE project led by The Rix Centre and funded by NIACE's Community Learning Innovation Fund in North East London. We have been working with 40 Adult Learners with learning difficulties, 40 volunteer teaching students from UEL, 3 provider organisations, staff from The Rix Centre and Software Company XTLearn as well as other project participants. For Multi Me the project has been totally enlightening and a wonderful opportunity to work very closely with learners and staff in a diverse range of contexts.

Andy Minnion, Director of The Rix Centre said:

"The response to Multi Me on the ICICLE project has been fantastic, it's a great tool and you simply can't ignore the reception it's got from young people. Participants and supporters have been really impressed how much people actually own it - with other software tools people haven't really gone away and done stuff on their own, they don't have the same instant appeal, its ease of use, the linking to YouTube etc... has just been excellent!"

We will keep you posted on further developments.
